Camp Zama, Japan, held its 61st annual Bon Odori Festival Aug. 6,
2022, on the installation. The event drew tens of thousands of visitors and
was the first to be held there since 2019, following cancellations in 2020
and 2021 due to COVID-19. Following an evening of traditional Japanese Bon
dancing, the event concluded with a 20-minute fireworks finale.
