Guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85) passes the downtown San Diego waterfront after getting underway from Naval Base San Diego. The ship is changing homeport to Yokosuka, Japan, and will become part of the Forward Deployed Naval Forces. The Aegis destroyer honors Capt. David S. McCampbell, the Navy's all-time leading ace with 34 aerial victories during World War II.
