    The excess shims are being cut flush with the wall by, U.S. Air Force, Senior Airman Jacob Mellenthin, 126th Civil Engineer Squadron, in a home being built for Cherokee veterans at Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Aug. 4, 2022. The Illinois National Guard members are participating in an Innovative Readiness Training’s Cherokee Veterans Housing Initiative.
