Chief Hospital Corpsman Reynold Alonso and staff at Naval Health Clinic Patuxent River complete the monthly FOD (Foreign Object Debris) Walkdown on Thursday, July 28, 2022, led by the command's aviation boatswain's mates. While a traditional "FOD Walk" takes place on a flight deck or runway to clear debris and avoid a flight mishap, the FOD Walks at the clinic target litter to keep the area looking beautiful for patients and staff. It's also good practice for when the command's sailors deploy.
