PORT OF DJIBOUTI, Djibouti- A MSRON-1A patrol boat floats alongside the USS Herschel "Woody" Williams while military members from Camp Lemonnier, Port Ops, and MSRON-1A tested their ability to embark a 34ft patrol boat onboard the USS Herschel "Woody" Williams (ESB-4) for the first time July 31, 2022. This represents an increased capability to provide maritime security while traveling in the 6th fleet AOR where host nation support is nonexistent.
