Spectators begin to arrive at Hayward Field at the University of Oregon, Eugene, Ore., during the World Track and Field Championships, July 21, 2022. Oregon National Guard Members of the 102nd Weapons of Mass Destruction - Civil Support Team, and other security staff of the Joint Hazard Assessment Team (JHAT) conduct security sweeps during the World Track and Field Championships being held July 15-24, 2022. The JHAT regularly patrolled the grounds to conduct sweeps and evaluate any potential threats in order to help ensure the safety of the participants and observers at the Championships.
