Dr. Michael Visich (center) of Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport’s Undersea Warfare Engineering and Analysis Department, who is a principal investigator for Virginia Platform Modeling and Simulation Analysis, recently won the Assistant Secretary of the Navy Research, Development and Acquisition (ASN RDA) Dr. Delores M. Etter Award in the Individual Engineer category for his exemplary contributions to susceptibility analysis. Visich received his award from Tommy Ross (from left), who is performing the duties of ASN RDA, and Frederick “Jay” Stefany, principal civilian deputy to ASN RDA, during a ceremony held on June 16, 2022.
