U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Colin Haley, a scout sniper with 3d Battalion, 2d Marines, engages targets with a M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper System from a UH-1Y Venom assigned to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 469 during aerial sniper drills on Camp Schwab, Okinawa, Japan, July 20, 2022. This training increased the Marine’s proficiency and lethality while engaging targets from an aircraft in flight. 3/2 is forward deployed in the Indo-Pacific under 4th Marines, 3d Marine Division as part of the Unit Deployment Program.
