(July 15, 2022) Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Great Lakes holds a change of command ceremony welcoming incoming Commanding Officer Captain Chad McKenzie, who relieved Commanding Officer Captain Jeremy Hawker. NMRTC Great Lakes is the Navy command at the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center, the first-of-its-kind, and only, health care center that integrates Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs medical care into a single combined mission.
