220706-M-RA094-1028 MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII, Hawaii (July 6, 2022) An Australian Defence Force scout sniper with Sniper Platoon, 2nd Royal Australian Regiment and U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Timothy Bradley, a chief scout sniper with Weapons Company, Battalion Land Team, 3d Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, Marine Air-Ground Task Force 7 (MAGFT-7), from Swampscott, Massachusetts, sights on targets during a live-fire sniper range in support of Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2022, on Marine Corps Base Hawaii, July 6, 2022. Twenty-six nations, 38 ships, four submarines, more than 170 aircraft and 25,000 personnel are participating in RIMPAC from June 29 to Aug. 4 in and around the Hawaiian Islands and Southern California. The world’s largest international maritime exercise, RIMPAC provides a unique training opportunity while fostering and sustaining cooperative relationship among participants critical to ensuring the safety of sea lanes and security on the world’s oceans.
