PHILIPPINE SEA (June 11, 2022) Gas Turbine Systems Technician (Mechanical) 2nd Class Andrew Youngstrom, from Hastings, Minnesota, tests a fuel sample aboard Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105) during a replenishment-at-sea with the Henry J. Kaiser-class underway replenishment oiler USNS Tippecanoe (T-AO-199). Dewey is assigned to Commander, Task Force 71/Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th fleet’s principal surface force.
