    26th Marine Expeditionary Unit     

    U.S. Navy Ensign Spencer Ward, electronic material officer, Bataan Amphibious Ready Group, works with U.S. Marines a part of the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (26th MEU) supporting George H.W. Bush Carrier Strike Group’s Composite Unit Training Exercise (COMPTUEX). The purpose of COMPTUEX is to assess the units’ ability to conduct military operations at sea, project power ashore through joint planning and execution of challenging and realistic training scenarios.
