U.S. Soldiers from the 404th and 443rd Civil Affairs Battalions (CAB), assigned to the 409th Air Expeditionary Group, meet with the village chief in Azel Kheloway, Niger, June 13, 2022. During the meeting, they discussed the need for a medical clinic in the village, and the 404th CAB introduced the new civil affairs team from the 443rd CAB and bid farewell to village leaders and citizens who they’ve built relationships with as a part of the enduring relationship between the U.S. and the citizens of Niger.
