Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic engineer John Larson, far right, project lead for the Department of the Navy (DON) 5G Integrated Product Team (IPT), briefed Commandant of the Marine Corps Gen. David H. Berger on May 24 about the capabilities and efficiencies of a 5G-enabled smart warehouse being developed for Marine Force Storage Command on Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany, Georgia. The DON 5G IPT won the prestigious Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development and Acquisition’s 2022 Dr. Delores M. Etter Top Scientists and Engineers of the Year on June 16.
