Multiple U.S. Army soldiers in full combat gear are gathered around a point on sandy ground where smoke or dust is rising. The central soldier, identified by name tape as 'HENLEY,' is bent over examining or working on something at ground level. This appears to be a training exercise involving explosive ordnance, demolitions, or IED detection/disposal.

Spc. Avante Henley, a combat engineer with the 833rd Engineer Company out of Ottumwa, Iowa, helps cover a cratering charge with dirt and sand on a demolition range at Orchard Combat Training Center, in Idaho, on June 10, 2022. Cratering charges are placed below ground and detonated to create large craters which can be used to destroy enemy tunnels, roads and runways.
