CARIBBEAN SEA (June 14, 2022) The Freedom-variant littoral combat ship USS Billings (LCS 15), steams alongside the French auxiliary naval ship Dumont d’Urville (A624) while conducting simulated replenishment-at-sea (RAS) approaches during exercise Caraibes 2022, June 14, 2022. Caraibes 2022 is a French led, combined and joint training exercise in the Caribbean involving naval, air and land assets. This multi-national exercise aims to promote cooperation among regional forces and their collective ability to successfully provide humanitarian assistance/disaster relief (HADR) in response to a natural disaster.
