Coast Guard Cutter Heriberto Hernandez interdicts a 30-foot makeshift vessel June 17, 2022 near Mona Island, Puerto Rico that was taking part in an illegal voyage in the Mona Passage. The crew of the cutter Heriberto Hernandez repatriated 56 Dominicans from this voyage to a Dominican Republic Navy vessel June 18, 2022. The interdiction is the result of ongoing local and federal multi-agency efforts in support of the Caribbean Border Interagency Group CBIG. (U.S. Coast Guard photo).
