A member of the 445th Security Forces Squadron, moves through the woods in Albright, West Virginia, on June 9 as part of a field training exercise. The exercise’s strike team carried M4 carbines, a M240 machine gun and a M249 light machine gun, each muzzle covered by a blank-firing attachment and loaded with blank rounds of ammunition, enabling the defenders to experience the sound and feel of live fire throughout the exercise.
