U.S. Air Force Col. John Gustafson, commander, 386th Expeditionary Mission Support Group, presents Maj. Angela L. Petersen, outgoing commander, 386th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron, with the Meritorious Service Medal during a change of command ceremony at the base theater at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait, June 13, 2022. Under her command, Petersen oversaw a 845-vehicle fleet and the movement of 35 million gallons of petroleum products, 79,000 passengers and 87 million pounds of cargo on 11,000 missions annually.
