Soldiers and civilians from the 97th Military Police Battalion, Fort Riley DES and supporters participate in the 41st Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Kansas on June 14 in Junction City, Kansas. Every year, to raise awareness, law enforcement officers from more than 97 agencies all over Kansas participate in this event. Runners took over at the Ogden Gate where Fort Riley Police Chief William Paskow received the torch from Riley County Police Department, and then passed the flame on to the Junction City Police Chief John Lamb at Grant Gate.
