Robert Goscicki (left), an instructor at the United States Military Academy learns from Harrison Wepener, a cadet with USMA, on how to properly check the functions of an M4 Carbine for Civilian Military Experience (CME)at Camp Buckner in West Point, NY on June 2, 2022. Civilian Staff and faculty support the USMA Mission to create commissioned leaders of character and are responsible for contributing a culture of character growth. The CME provides civilian faculty an immersive military training experience that resembles cadet field training in order to provide shared understanding of the demands of cadet life and Army leadership.
