Six-hundred pounds of expired munitions and ordnance caches found off base were collectively destroyed in a controlled detonation, Jan. 10, at Ali Base, Iraq. Airmen of the 407th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal team used C-4 explosives, to rid the munitions which now can never be used by the enemy.
