SAN DIEGO (May 11, 2022) West Coast-based Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Deploy for Purpose Sailors inspect their MT-2X parachute rigs aboard a CMV-22B Osprey, assigned to Fleet Logistics Multi-Mission Squadron (VRM) 30, during military freefall training. Deploy for Purpose is part of NSW's optimized combat-ready force in reserve focused on innovation. This new force design gives operators the time and space to experiment and develop new concepts to meet specific operational needs while increasing agility to respond to crises around the globe.
