PHILIPPINE SEA (June 4, 2022) Republic of Korea (ROK) Navy Chungmugong Yi Sun-sin-class destroyer ROKS Munmu the Great (DDG-976), left, sails in formation with Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Antietam (CG 54), right, and Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Benfold (DDG 65), foreground, following the conclusion of Carrier Strike Group Exercise 2022. The combined forces of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 5 and Maritime Task Flotilla (MTF) 7 operated together during this partnership between Republic of Korea Navy and U.S. Navy, as well as provide an opportunity to assure allies and partners of the U.S. commitment to the region and rules-based international order.
