The Honorable Lloyd Austin, Secretary of Defense, met with nearly a dozen members of North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command during a visit to the commands’ headquarters June 7, 2022. The secretary traveled to Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado, and joined Gen. Glen VanHerck, NORAD and USNORTHCOM Commander, in welcoming the Prime Minister of Canada, The Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, and Canadian Minister of National Defence, The Honourable Anita Anand.
