220525-N-PC065-1007 AEGEAN SEA (May 25, 2022) The German Bremen-class frigate FGS Lübeck (F 214) sails behind the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS Arlington (LPD 24) as the two ships execute a passing exercise in the Aegean Sea, May 25, 2022. Arlington is part of the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group and embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, under the command and control of Task Force 61/2, on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. Naval Forces Europe area of operations, employed by U.S. Sixth Fleet, to defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
