A plaque to honor the life of Command Sgt. Maj. Donovan E. Watts was unveiled during a conference room dedication ceremony held at the 1st Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division headquarters building, Jan. 14, 2008. Watts was killed on Nov. 21, 2006 when a roadside bomb hit his mounted patrol in Bayji, Iraq. The plaque with be placed in front on the conference room.
