Two C-130J Super Hercules aircraft out of Ramstein Air Base, Germany, fly over Negreville, France during a D-Day ceremony June 3, 2022. On June 6, 1944 a Douglas C-47 Skytrain aircraft crashed near Negreville after being hit by anti-aircraft fire and all aircrew members and paratroopers were forced to jump 12 miles away from their intended drop zone.
