Hundreds of Soldiers, veterans, civilians, and their Family members attended the Memorial Day Commemoration Ceremony May 30, 2022, at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery despite the mounting heat. ‘These hallowed stones tell the story of our beloved nation one name at a time,’ said Chaplain (Col.) Samuel Boone, a retired Army chaplain who provided the invocation that opened the ceremony.
