Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime Commander U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Kristen Fabry speaks about the importance of planting native trees at a brief Arbor Day Celebration May 20 at the Defense Supply Center Columbus MWR Sports Park. The event celebrated the planting of 37 larger caliper native trees to augment the saplings planted there last year. The project will increase DSCC's urban forest under the Tree City USA program.
