A U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III flies over parachuted candy dropped from a C-54 Skymaster in Spanish Fork, Utah May 21, 2022. The candy drop was part of a two-day event in celebration of the legendary World War II pilot Col. Gail Halverson. Halverson was best known as the “Berlin Candy Bomber” or “Uncle Wiggly Wings” for dropping candy to German children during the Berlin Airlift from 1948-49. (U.S. Air Force photo by David Perry)
