U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 721st Aerial Port Squadron load a pallet of infant formula onto a C-17 Globemaster lll aircraft assigned to Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, May 22, 2022. The President of the United States launched Operation Fly Formula to speed up the import of infant formula from Europe to the United States due to critical shortages there. These formulas have been prioritized because they serve a critical medical purpose and are in short supply in the United States because of the Abbott Sturgis plant closure.
