Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune corpsmen and staff recognized National Stop The Bleed Day on May 19, 2022. Employees, patients and visitors stopped by the Stop The Bleed booth to learn life-saving techniques such as applying a tourniquet. Stop The Bleed is a national effort to bring knowledge of bleeding control to the public. NMCCL, along with partners such as Onslow County Emergency Medical Services, have helped teach thousands of people in North Carolina to "stop the bleed."
