U.S. service members assigned to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA), participate in an honorable carry ceremony held on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, May 19, 2022. DPAA received the possible remains of a U.S. Airman from a World War II aircraft crash following a repatriation ceremony in Thailand. DPAA’s mission is to achieve the fullest possible accounting for missing and unaccounted-for U.S. personnel to their families and our nation. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt. Morgan L. R. Burgess)
