The USAID Syria Livelihoods Program trained 45 women artisans in Malikiyah in advanced handicraft production in partnership with the Malikiyah Women’s Office. The training, led by regional handicraft platform Souk Fann, supported the women to improve the finishing and packaging of their products. In addition to selling their products locally, the program will facilitate shipment of the artisans’ products to Amman for staging, marketing, and sale through Souk Fann’s online platform.
