American and Spanish medical personnel check the vital signs of a mock patient during a casualty triage and evacuation while sharpening their skills at Exercise Swift Response 2022. May 7, 8 and 9, 2022, at Lake Altevatnet, Norway. The joint training that took place was to help soldiers get familiar with tactics and procedures of other ally nations in the event of a combat situation.
Exercise Swift Response 2022 is an annual multinational training exercise, which takes place in Eastern Europe, the Arctic High North, Baltic and Balkans from May 2-20. The purpose of the exercise is to present combat credible Army forces in Europe and Africa, and enhance readiness by building airborne interoperability with Allies and Partners and the integration of joint service partnership.(U.S. Army photo by Spc.
