Cadets from San Diego State University line up to shoot grenade launchers at hillside targets on April 30 at the Sandhurst Military Skills Competition. During this timed event, Cadet teams took a variety of factors into consideration while attempting to hit five separate targets. Day two of the competition consisted of five total events–the obstacle course, three separate ranges, and a final challenge called “The Crucible.” The Sandhurst Military Skills Competition is an annual event hosted by the United States Military Academy in West Point, N.Y., featuring colleges from around the United States and world fighting for the title of being the best military program in the world. | Photo by Sarah Windmueller, U.S. Army Cadet Command Public Affairs
