U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. John Stefanowicz, 2021 Olympian wrestler and currently the senior combative instructor at the U.S. Naval Academy, interacts with the All-Navy wrestling team at the South Point Arena in Las Vegas, N.V., April 28. Marine Corps partnership with USA wrestling presented the competition for wrestlers all over the country from April 27 to May 1. The Marine Corps began partnering with USAW in 2017 to share career opportunities, leadership and celebrate the spirit of competition while offering opportunities to athletes and coaches involved with the sport of wrestling. By partnering specifically with USAW, the Marine Corps reaches a broad cross-section of high school and collegiate-aged wrestlers as well as an ever-growing influencer network of coaches, referees, wrestling alumni and parents.(U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl.
