Various seeds wait to be processed for cleaning and data collection at the seed laboratory on Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz, Guam, April 19, 2022. The laboratory is a part of the nursery on base that is home to native plants and trees found on Guam. The overall goal of the nursery is to rebuild populations of declining native plant species by utilizing the base’s two forest enhancement sites. The decline in native plant species are due to invasive plants and animals effecting the local ecology. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Gunnery Sgt. Rubin J. Tan)
