Daniel Alacala, both rescue and fire-fighting vehicle operators with the Marine Corps Air Station’s Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting unit, demonstrate Marine Corps Martial Arts Program techniques to the U.S. Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps cadets on MCAS Miramar, San Diego, California, April 20, 2022. The cadets from Vista Murrieta High School in Murrieta, California, and Mitchell High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado, also received an obstacle course demonstration, visited the air traffic control tower, and saw a static display on the flight line as part of a visit to the base to familiarize them with air-station operations and everyday life in the military.
