Heavy equipment is used to conduct remediation on the north side of the Formerly Utilized Sites Remeadial Action Program (FUSRAP) "Seaway Site" in Tonawanda, New York, November 25, 2015. The site was operated as a landfill from 1930 to 1993, accepting a variety of municipal, commercial, construction, and industrial wastes, and is in the process of being remediated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District.
