U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (YPG) Wildlife Biologist Daniel Steward shows students from Price Elementary School a Groasis Waterboxx that sustains saplings in desert climates with rain water and condensation. Recently, YPG’s Environmental Sciences Division has begun a pilot project to plant native species of plants and trees around populated areas of post and sustain the saplings without irrigation systems.
