Emily Nicholas, a counselor from 8th Marine Corps District, is on her third day with the Educators' Workshop on Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., April 21, 2022. The educators received a welcome aboard brief from U.S. Marine Corps Col. Thomas M. Bedell, commanding officer, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. Highlighting the tour was a guided discussion with first-term Marines consisting of a crew chief, a band musician, an administrative specialist, and a combat videographer, who gave the educators an inside look at the accomplishments of first-term Marines. The Educators' Workshop is a four-day program providing first-hand experience of Marine Corps Bootcamp and the countless benefits that are available.
