    Two large vessels are conducting an underway replenishment (UNREP) operation at sea, connected by multiple transfer hoses and lines. The left vessel appears to be a gray military/naval auxiliary ship, while the right vessel is a light blue commercial tanker with 'Maersk' visible on its hull. Both ships are underway simultaneously, maintaining parallel course and speed while the transfer operation is in progress.

    USN Military Sealift Command

    The Fast Combat Support Ship USNS Supply (T-AOE 6) and commercial tanker MT Maersk Peary conduct the first two-station consolidated cargo replenishment at sea (CONSOL). CONSOL capability is when a specially outfitted commercial tanker charted by Military Sealift Command conducts underway refueling operations, transferring cargo to a fleet oiler at sea.
