Rear Adm. Bruce Gillingham, U.S. Navy Surgeon General speaks with Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Amy Petersen during a site visit to Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Corpus Christi. During the visit, Gillingham and U.S. Navy Hospital Corps Director Force Master Chief Michael Roberts met with clinic leadership, and toured the clinic facility to meet with Sailors and staff and to discuss the importance of medical readiness and the critical role Navy Medicine’s people and platforms contribute to our Navy’s power projection.
