Annie Zarama, a researcher with the Naval Aerospace Medical Research Laboratory, tracks data inputs from motion capture software in the Operational Biomechanics and Ergonomics Lab March 30 at the Naval Medical Research Unit – Dayton. Thirty optical tracking cameras positioned throughout the lab collect movement data from a subject wearing sensors that provide visual and real-time information. The process allows researchers to address issues like neck and back pain in military aviators.
