U.S. Air Force Col. Scott Hoffman, Deputy Director of Pacific Air Forces Directorate of Strategy, Plans, and Programs, speaks to students from Massachusetts Institute of Technology at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, March 23, 2022. Students visited JBPHH as part of a tour of military commands on the island of Oahu to learn about the Department of Defense’s role in ensuring a free and open Indo-Pacific. Participants in the program included Graduate and Doctorate-level students as well as five Active Duty military members from across the services, as part of their Senior Development Education requirements.
