YOKOSUKA, Japan (March 30, 2022) – Mass Communication Specialist 3rd Class Sarah Eaton, from Keene, N.H., assigned to U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) reads a quote given out to the crew during a Women's History Month celebration held aboard Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan March 30, 2022. Women's History Month is an annual celebration that started in 1981 and highlights the contributions of women in American history. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
