Since the beginning of 2022, United States Coast Guard Air Station Savannah has already completed 49 missions within the Southeast Coastal region, saving 12 lives and assisting in saving an additional 11. The women of this unit are an essential piece to the air station's success. Hunter Army Airfield garrison is proud to have them as a tenant unit and honors their sacrifice and acknowledges their individual contributions as they ensure our Nation's maritime safety, security and stewardship.
In FY 21, they completed 161 missions, saved 29 lives, assisted in saving an additional 32 and saved over $2,080,236 in property.
