Phonkamon Gehres, 31st Operations Support Squadron Wing airfield driving program manager, explains the usage of a light kit to 31st OSS Airfield Management and Air Traffic Control members at Aviano Air Base, Italy, March 10, 2022. The members trained on airfield management contingency response procedures and used a Phantom AZL-15 lighting kit to simulate landing zones for different aircraft including, C-17 Globemasters and C-130 Hercules. The Phantom AZL-15 lighting kit contains approximately 35 LED lamps that are powered with batteries and can be turned on anytime or set up with remotes.
